Pawprint The Initial Appointment

The initial appointment is very extensive and includes a full life history of your four-legged companion and a thorough physical exam. Doctor AMara will empower you through education regarding the holistic paradigm, diet/nutrition, and the vaccination controversy.

It is best if all the members of the household who are primary in the care of your pet can attend. The information you receive will be invaluable for true dis-ease prevention for all your current and future pets. It will also help raise your consciousness and awareness as a responsible animal guardian. The first appointment usually lasts anywhere from 1 to 3 hours with Dr. Tamara Hebbler, depending on the severity of your case, your knowledge of homeopathy and holistic medicine, and what questions you might have.

Prior to your visit, please contact all previous veterinarians and pick-up all previous medical records. You can request that they  e-mail the medical records to us at questions.healinghope@gmail.com

Please specifically request the “doctor’s notes,” since invoices are not helpful. X-rays will usually need to be picked up in person. Also, bring any medications or supplements your pet is currently taking.

We have a very busy schedule and with an increasing demand for holistic options, it can take up to two weeks to schedule an initial consultation. We value your time and ask that you respect ours. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a cancellation fee equal to the price of the initial consultation. We appreciate your understanding in regards to this policy. Our policies and new client forms are listed below.

We honor you for being an empowered individual and taking these steps to be proactive with your pet’s care.

Tips: Healing Hope is a consultation practice. This means that you will be billed for the doctor or practitioner’s time spent on your individual case, be that in person, or on the phone.  We recommend that phone consults are scheduled when you have distraction-free time to speak with the doctor or practitioner.

Prior to your phone consult, you may find it helpful to create a list of questions or topics that you would like to discuss so as to make the best use of your time.
